We’re starting a movement—and it began with one simple conversation. As an IT professional and parent, I found myself talking with my 10-year-old son Callan about the role technology plays in our lives. Instead of repeating the usual "screen time is bad" message, we asked a different question: What if we changed the way we think about technology altogether?​ That one conversation sparked something bigger. We realized that kids Callan’s age have almost no voice when it comes to how they use technology. So we started asking his friends, their parents, and our community: What if kids saw tech not just as entertainment, but as a tool for connection, creation, and impact? Fast forward a year—22 website versions, countless idea changes, and a few moments of doubt—and we’re here. With a mission to create a movement where the youngest users of technology start thinking differently. ​We want to encourage kids to make global connections, deepen their real-life relationships, and get wise in the digital world. Our first project: The Digital Purpose Pledge. ​ We’re aiming for 1 million pledges—from kids, parents, teachers, and anyone who believes that the next generation can and should use technology with intention and purpose. But that’s just the beginning. We're also building what we believe is the world’s most important time capsule—capturing the voices of our elders who went to school before screens took over, preserving their stories until the year 2100, when Callan will be 85.​ So join us.
